Egypt's Ismaily sign Ghanaian forward Jebrin
Published in Ahram Online on 31 - 07 - 2015

Ismaily, taking heart from the success of John Antwi and Emmanuel Banahene, signed another Ghanaian forward in Torric Jebrin, the Egyptian club said.
The Dervishes said on their Twitter account that Jebrin had completed his move to the Egyptian Premier League outfit but did not reveal further details.
The 24-year-old joined on a free transfer after leaving Turkish side Bucaspor, becoming the second Ghanaian in Ismaily's squad after Banahene, a January arrival who quickly established himself as a key player at the success-starved club, who won the last of their three league titles in 2002.
Jebrin also played for Ghana's Hearts of Oak and Turkey's Trabzonspor.
He would be hoping to follow in the footsteps of John Antwi, a burly 22-year-old striker who enjoyed a highly-successful two-year spell with Ismaily and finished as the Egyptian league top scorer in 2014 with 11 goals.
Antwi has recently joined Ismaily's bitter foes Ahly but Banahene managed to fill the gap with some fine displays in the second half of this season, scoring nine goals in 13 appearances.
Ismaily, who began the season with a six-point deduction for failing to pay a former player, finished sixth in the league with 55 points. They are now managed by former Zamalek coach Mido, a former nomadic footballer who played for the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, AS Roma and Ajax Amsterdam among several others.
