Ismaily's president Mohamed Abou El-Seoud revealed on Monday that the club has accepted Zamalek's offer concerning the team's Ghanaian striker John Antwi. The Cairo giants had earlier expressed their desire to hire Antwi, who produced a string of strong displays with Ismaily this season. The 21-year-old is one of the best foreign players in the league, leading the list of top scorers with 11 goals. ''We reached an agreement with Zamalek concerning Antwi's transfer,'' Ismaily's president said in a TV programme on Monday. ''The player expressed his desire to leave the club and we decided to sell him to Zamalek,'' Abou El-Seoud added. According to Ismaily's president, Zamalek will pay $750,000 to hire the Ghanaian striker. Antwi becomes Zamalek's eighth new-signing after the return of midfielder Ibrahim Salah, Ittihad El-Shorta's trio Khaled Qamar, Ahmed Dwidar and Maarouf Youssef, Egypt's U-23 duo Mohamed Abdel-Razek and Ahmed Samir and Ismaily's defender Saleh Moussa. Zamalek will start their campaign in the Premier League mini-league on Saturday with a tough clash against archrivals Ahly.
