Police say four Britons who were detained by Turkish authorities while trying to cross into Syria have been deported to Britain and arrested. The four, aged between 22 and 47, were among nine Britons detained near the border on April 1. Greater Manchester Police said the four were arrested Wednesday at Manchester airport and were being questioned about their reason for travel. A fifth man was arrested Tuesday at another British airport. The group also contained four children aged 1 to 11, who have been made wards of court. Britain, like other European countries, has seen scores of citizens seek to reach areas of Syria controlled by the Islamic State group. Separately, British police said they arrested a 25-year-old man Wednesday in Birmingham, central England, over suspected Syria-related terrorism offenses. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/127728.aspx
