Egyptian Shikabala may replace Hleb in Birmingham
The bids are on from French and German clubs for Zamalek play-maker Mahmoud Abdel-Razik 'Shikabala,‘ but weightier Premier League side Birmingham targets him

Birmingham is reportedly setting up a bid for Zamalek playmaker, Mahmoud Abdel-Razik “Shikabala” at the end of this season.
“Shikabala is out of contract with club Zamalek in December and is able to hold talks now over a prospective pre-contract agreement,” English newspaper, Daily Mail reported on Tuesday.
The English Premier League side, who struggle against relegation, are seeking to strengthen their midfield as they look for a replacement for Aliaksandr Hleb, whose loan from Barcelona expires at the end of the season.
The Pharaoh key player's magical performance caught the eye of France and Germany clubs, too, but he would like to prove his worth in the English Premier League.
One of the best players in the Egyptian competitions, Shikabala, is inspiring the Cairo giants to lead the domestic league table and compete for first title since 2004.
The former Greek club, Paok, forward has been in a scintillating form this season, scoring 11 goals in 21 league games to top the scorers' chart.
