Sporting Lisbon interested in Koka: Rio Ave chairman
Rio Ave president says several clubs, including Sporting Lisbon, are keen to sign Egyptian striker Ahmed Hassan Koka

Rio Ave chairman António Silva Campos has revealed that Sporting Lisbon have expressed their interest in signing Egyptian striker Ahmed Hassan 'Koka'.
According to the Portuguese club chief, Sporting have formally enquired about Koka's availability, as a potential move to Lisbon will only be sealed at the end of the season.
"Sporting are interested in signing Koka. We'll respond to them as soon as possible," Campos said.
"Aside from Sporting's interest in Koka, there are also other clubs from outside Portugal who are keen to sign him as well.
"In all cases, if a move to Sporting is going to be agreed, it will be at the end of the season."
Koka has been in brilliant form for Rio Ave – who are seventh in the Portuguese league table – having taken his tally to eight league goals so far this season.
His last goals came against third-placed Sporting last weekend, scoring Rio Ave's second in their 4-2 away league defeat in Lisbon.
Sporting are also believed to be keen to find a replacement for Algerian striker Islam Slimani, who is linked with a winter move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Sporting, who finished runners-up in the league last season, already have two Egyptians in Shikabala and Ramy Rabia among their ranks, but the former is far from settled at the club having gone AWOL for several months now.
