Head of Egyptian intelligence meets with Hamas delegation
The head of Hamas's political bureau will met with the head of Egyptian intelligence ahead of tomorrow's signing of the Hamas and Fatah reconciliation in Cairo

Mourad Mowafi, head of Egyptian intelligence met today with a Hamas delegation headed by Khaled Mashaal, head of Hamas's political bureau.
A statement released by Hamas said that their delegation included Moussa Abou Marzouq, Mohamed Nasr and Ezzat El-Rashq of the political bureau.
The meeting comes as Egypt oversees the reconciliation of Palestinian factions Hamas and Fatah – the agreement for which is expected to be signed tomorrow. Observers are hopeful that the agreement will be able to unify the Palestinian front.
Abdel Aziz El-Shaqaqi, head of the Coalition of Independent Personalities, said that Egypt has supported the Palestinian dialogue. “Egypt is a central and primary player and its active role will reflect in the achievement of a conciliation agreement,” he stated.
