BREAKING: Egyptian court reduces Mahienour El-Masry's jail sentence to 6 months
Jail term lowered from three years to six months, but LE50,000 still stands for well-known activist

An Alexandria appeals court has reduced the jail sentence for prominent activist Mahienour El-Masry from three years to six months, in addition to fining her LE50,000 on charges of violating Egypt's protest law last December.
El-Masry and other activists were detained after protesting during the retrial those allegedly responsible for Khaled Said's death.
