Egypt court supports universities' ban on niqab in exams
The niqab (face veil) is now forbidden during university exams by court order

The Egyptian higher administrative court ruled on Saturday in favour of the universities' decision to ban the niqab (the face veil) during exams.
A lower administrative court's decision to uphold the universities' decision to ban students wearing the niqab from sitting for exams was appealed by lawyer, Nizar Ghorab, on behalf of a number of fully veiled students from Cairo and Ain Shams universities.
However, that appeal was denied today.
