Miroslav Klose became the all-time World Cup top scorer with 16 goals.

The veteran Lazio striker found the net in the 23rd minute to score Germany's second against Brazil on Monday in the World Cup semi-final.
Klose matched the 15-goal record of former Brazil striker Ronaldo after scoring the equalizer in a 2-2 group-stage draw against Ghana.
The 36-year-old rose to prominence at the 2002 World Cup in South Korea and Japan, where he scored five goals that included a hat-trick in a thumping 8-0 win over Saudi Arabia.
He scored another five at the 2006 finals on home soil to finish as the tournament's top scorer before netting four goals in 2010 in South Africa to come within one goal of the record that was held by former Barcelona, Inter Milan and Real Madrid striker Ronaldo.
