Germany lifts travel warning on Egypt's Sharm El-Sheikh: Tourism ministry
Germany issued a warning against travel to the popular Red Sea resort town after a bomb blast killed three South Korean tourists in February

Germany has lifted its travel warning on Egypt's Sharm El-Sheikh in South Sinai, Egypt's tourism ministry said on Tuesday.
Germany's decision is a result of the security and political situation becoming more stable in Egypt, said the ministry's statement.
Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou has been trying to remove all travel bans on Egypt imposed by European countries since February, when a bomb blast on a tour bus in South Sinai killed three South Koreans and their Egyptian driver and raised concerns about safety in Red Sea resorts.
Egypt saw a 36.4 percent drop in the number of German tourists who arrived in Egypt in the first five months of 2014 – around 300,000 tourists, as compared to about 500,000 in the same period of 2013, official figures showed.
