Egypt's Supreme Emergency State Security Court postponed the case of Tarek Abdel Razeq, the owner of an import/export company who is accused of spying for Israel. The Prosecutor had referred Abdel Razeq and two other defendants to court on charges of spying and releasing information that harms Egypt's national security. The case presented accuses Abdel Razeq of having been on the payroll of the Mossad (Israel's security agency) and collecting information related to Egypt's military forces. The defence requested medical reports covering the period of the defendant's incarceration, claiming that Abdel Razeq had been tortured. The case has been postponed to 14 May.
