Ahly will be looking to build on their auspicious start to their CAF Confederation Cup campaign when they visit Tunisia's Etoile Sahel in an eagerly-anticipated clash on Sunday. Topping their Group B with three points following a convincing 2-0 home victory over Zambia's Nkana, Ahly will be eyeing a positive result at Etoile – who are favourites to make it through to the semis alongside the Reds. Ahly will not be having an easy task though, with Etoile seeking a home win after drawing 1-1 at outsiders Ivory Coast's Sewe Sport – who also held Nkana to a 1-1 stalemate in their second group game. The history of rivalry between Ahly and Etoile started just nine years ago, with the North African rivals meeting five times since. It all started in the two-legged 2005 Champions League final that saw the Cairo giants clinch the title following a 3-0 aggregate victory. But the Tunisians were able to avenge their title loss two years later – pulling off an impressive 3-1 aggregate win following a dramatic finale in Cairo. Their other encounter was in the 2007 African Super Cup, which was won by Ahly following a penalty shootout victory in Addis Ababa. Sunday's match will be staged at the 30,000-seater Stade Olympique, but a limited number of 8500 fans will only be allowed in due to lingering security concerns in the neighbouring Arab nation. Team news Ahly will be missing their league top-scorer Abdallah El-Saied, who will be out for three months after suffering a serious foot injury during the Nkana win. Summer-signing midfielder Ahmed Khairy, however, has surprisingly made Ahly's 22-man squad despite a groin complaint. Etoile also have their own injury concerns, with defenders Rami Bedoui and Radhouene Felhi ruled out.
