CAIRO: The Judicial Committee assigned to monitor parliamentary elections in North Cairo's third constituency has started counting ballots from most polling stations at Future Experimental Language School in Nasr City to determine the runoff winner. Competing candidates include Essam Mokhtar and Amr Ouda for the workers seat, while Mostafa al-Nagar and Mohamed Yusri are going head to head for the professional seat. Ballot counting stations have been overcrowded due to the constituency covering a large area and containing many polling stations which has led to many ballots.
