CAIRO: Egypt's stocks dropped in Monday's morning session amid ongoing runoff parliamentary elections. Main indices EGX30 declined by 1.33 percent, recording 4,018 points, while EGX20 fell by 1.04 percent. The EGX70 and EGX100 indices dropped by 1.01 percent and 1.07 percent, respectively. Most of today's shares decreased including General Company for Ceramics and Porcelain down by 3.85 percent, Ezz Steel down 2.56 percent, Palm Hills down 2.34 percent, Amer Group down 1.45 percent and Pioneers down 2.29 percent. Egyptian investors had a purchasing and selling deal with foreign investors for Orascom Construction Industries shares worth 30 million EGP during morning transactions. This made Egyptian investors appear as selling amid foreign and Arab investments.
