CAIRO: A group of Tahrir Square demonstrators today moved their protest to the Egyptian Cabinet headquarters, while most protestors remain in Tahrir Square until their demands are met, they claim. Some revolutionary movements and coalitions plan to hold political and cultural seminars during which they will host intellectuals, writers and politicians. They also plan to hold music and art performances during the Cabinet protest. “The Right Revolutionary Coalition decided to suspend its protest in Tahrir Square and move it to the Egyptian Cabinet,” said general coordinator Amr Abdel Hady, citing a need to open traffic in Tahrir. Hady called on all protesters to move their demonstrations and open the Square for traffic. Egypt's revolutionaries called for a halt in cooperation with new Prime Minister Kamal el-Ganzouri, thanking those who refused to take part in the new Cabinet. “The protest transfer is a message to the Egyptian people that the revolutionary coalitions feel comfortable with the first phase of elections,” said Tarek Mohamed Mahmoud, the head of the social committee of the Right Revolutionary.
