CAIRO: A run-off election will be held in Cairo's Nasr City between Salafi candidate Mohammad Ussri, who is backed by the Muslim Brotherhood, and Mustafa el-Nagar of the Justice Party, said head of the eighth constituency and the head of the Appeals Court, Said al-Bekri. Ussri won 48,321 votes, or 15 percent, while Nagar won 68,810 votes, or 20 percent, Bekri added. A run-off will also be held between the labor candidate of the Freedom and Justice Party, Essam Mukhtar, who won 54,817 votes, or 19 percent, and Amr Ouda, an independent who won 35,608 votes, or 10 percent. Valid votes numbered 331,577 while there were 3,469 invalid votes. The final results will be announced after counting the votes of expatriate Egyptians, according to Bekri.
