CAIRO: Egyptian Islamic activists are heading to Tahrir Square today to prepare for this Friday's million-man demonstration, sources said, who added that the Salafis arranged for 3,000 buses to transport demonstrators to the square. The Islamic power coalition still rejects supra-constitutional principles, and this refusal is one of the main causes of the January 25 Revolution, said Mohammad Ussri, secretary-general of Legitimate Authority for Rights and Reform. This Friday's demonstration is protesting the attempt to impose supra-constitutional principles, Ussri said, adding that anyone willing to join is welcome. Ussri condemns all efforts to undermine the demonstration or deprive it of exercising its will, he said in statements to Youm7, adding that the demonstration was called for by Islamic powers. All Islamic powers, Ussri said, agree on three central demands: a refusal of supra-constitutional principles; action on Revolution demands; and a refusal of any ruling military council admonishments directed at protestors. Representatives from different Islamic movements – like the Salafis, the Muslim Brotherhood, and Gamaa al-Islamiyya – will deliver speeches on the main stage in Tahrir, Ussri said. Islamic groups will also help coordinate the demonstration and secure Tahrir's entrances and exits. In related news, The People's Will Front agrees with the Revolution Youth Coalition that this Friday's demonstration should be dubbed “The Friday of People's Will,” the Front's spokesman said.
