CAIRO: The Central Operation Room following Egypt's first round of parliamentary voting did not observe any violations or forgery inside polling stations, said General Secretary of Local Administration at the Egyptian Ministry of Local Development, Mohammad Abdel Zaher. Simple problems facing the voting process, like the delayed arrival of judicial monitors to polling stations, have been solved in the room, which was formed by the ministry, said Abdel Zaher. He said the elections were unprecedented, and the turnout pushed the economy forward, according to Abdel Zaher, citing the improvement at the stock exchange. Abdel Zaher said that the decision by the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces to hold elections on time was correct.
