Continual sit-ins outside the Cabinet prompted the Election Coordination Committee's operation room to move to the Supreme Electoral Committee's building until the first stage of the elections are finished. The head of the committee, Hani Mahmoud, said that the operation room was scheduled to be in the information center building located at the Cabinet, but sit-ins prevented the members from entering the building. Mahmoud said that he helped sort expatriate Egyptian votes at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Monday morning. The Election Coordination Committee coordinates between the different executive parties during the elections, and ensures that the Supreme Electoral Committee's decisions are carried out.
