The April 6 Youth Movement /spancalled for a million-man protest for Friday in Tahrir Square and all main squares across Egypt rejecting Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi's speech and to demand the dismissal of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces. The official spokesperson of the movement, Mahmoud Afify, said that the protest, called "Martyrs' Right," seeks to realize the people's demands. He said the protest would demand the immediate announcement of presidential elections no later than April, and the transfer of authority from the council to a civil presidential council, so the armed forces can return to their original responsibility of defending Egypt's borders. Another demand was the appointment of a national salvation government with all executive authority to oversee the transition, as well as an investigation into the Tahrir Clashes resulting in the punishment of those responsible. Afify said that the square would hold prayers for the souls of martyrs from Tahrir and other squares. Arabic here
