CAIRO: Egypt will resume pumping natural gas to Israel and Jordan tomorrow as a trial run, according to a source in Egypt's Ministry of Petroleum. The flow will be less than normal. The source said Jasco, the company responsible for pumping the gas, has repaired one of the two gas lines which were bombed recently. The gas pipeline that transfers Egyptian gas to Israel and Jordon was attacked last week. It was the seventh such attack since Egypt's January uprising. Many Egyptians are opposed to exporting Egyptian gas to Israel, particularly after it was revealed that Egypt sells the gas to Israel at below-market value and that the contracts were not signed according to the law.
