The Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that Israeli security were relieved after Mohammed Eid al-Teehi, a militant in the Sinai Peninsula, was captured by Egyptian authorities. Teehi is accused of bombing pipelines that provide Israel with gas. The daily added that Teehi is considered the main planner of the pipelines attacks, and was also accused of the Eilat attacks last August. The newspaper reported that this arrest may reduce pipeline bombings in the future.
