Deputy director of the General Petroleum Authority, Mohamed Shoeb, said the consumption rates of petrol 80 rose from 20 to 25 percent. Shoeb said that the consumption rate of petrol 80 increased to 21 million liters a day, up from last month's figure of 17 million liters a day. He added that some governorates consume three times their need, due to petrol sold in jerry cans. “There are not any problems in providing petrol 80 or any other kind,” said Shoeb.
