Arab sources said Arab foreign ministers decided to suspend Syrian delegations' participation in Arab League meetings until provisions of the Arab Initiative are met by the Syrian regime. The foreign ministers took the decision after Syria's permanent Arab League representative expressed his country's readiness to cooperate with any delegation sent from the Arab League during the next stage. The Syrian ambassador stressed his country's commitment to the Arab Initiative approved by the Council of Arab League, adding that his country is serious in executing the articles of initiative. He demanded the Arab League send a delegation to Syria to see the Syrian regime's commitment to the initiative, adding that there are foreign agendas working to impede the Arab plan.
