Former secretary general of the Arab League and Egyptian presidential candidate Amr Moussa presented his evaluation to Egypt's conditions and transitional phase developing to the current secretary general of the United Nations and his senior assistances Ban Ki-Moon. Moussa also answered many questions about Egyptian issues and listened to the UN chief's evaluation and his suggestions to support Egypt. Moussa issued a statement today November 11 assuring the meeting was long and they discussed many main issues in Arab countries, including Egypt, Tunisia and Libya. They also discussed the situation in Syria and Yemen and finally they discussed the difficulties of the Palestinian crisis and the future vision for every situation. He stressed the importance of Arab FMs' meeting, scheduled in Cairo tomorrow November 12. “It is important to support the Arab League's efforts to end the violence in Syria,” Moussa said. He also praised Turkey's role in solving the Syrian crisis. Regarding Palestine's request to join the UN, Moussa said Arab nations expect the UN to help the Palestinians. In related news, Moussa met head of UN general assembly Nasser Ben Abdel Aziz and discussed Arab crises.
