Cairo International Airport authorities secured the arrival, unloading and shipping of six tons of explosives from Cyprus on Wednesday November 9. Explosives will be used in drilling operations in the Red Sea region by U.S. Company Halliburton. The shipment arrived in 120 parcels on a private Turkish plane, on flight from Larnaca, Cyprus. The shipment was unloaded amid precautionary procedures and was shipped on a number of cars, moved amid intensive security heading to Red Sea to be put in company stores. U.S. Company Halliburton is one of the big companies working in Egypt since 1969 in fields of drilling and excavation.
