CAIRO: A small protest of Coptic Christians began today in Cairo's Shubra neighborhood. Around 150 protesters took part in the demonstration. Protestors held banners against military rule. They also charged Egypt's ruling military council with responsibility for the deadly October 9 Maspiro clashes that left 27 dead and many more injured. Part of the protest headed to the cathedral in Abassiya in order to participate in today's protest calling to dress all in black. Christians comprise about 10 percent of the Egyptian population.
