A bus carrying 25 Egyptian prisoners arrived at Red Seat port city of Tabas's border crossing Thursday afternoon, to complete an prisoner exchange deal that would trade them for Ilan Grapel, an Israeli-American accused of espionage for Israel. Israeli Radio said Egyptian authorities continued preparations for the exchange when Egyptian prisoners left from Bersheva in Southern Israel. Grapel will supposedly arrive in Tel Aviv on board of a flight from Egypt, and will be escorted by an envoy of the Prime Minister, Yitzhak Molcho, a member of the Knesset and Yisrael Hasson of the Kadima Party. Grapel's mother is reportedly waiting for him at Ben-Gurion airport. Security sources refused to reveal if Grapel, an Israeli-American accused of espionage for Israel, was in four Egyptian cars with intensive security that arrived in Taba. After the exchange, a press conference will be held. The Governors of South and North Sinai, and 25 Sheikhs of Sinai tribes will attend the conference. The Egyptian prisoners will meet their families after the press conference in another hotel.
