Egyptian Minister of Aviation Lotfy Mustafa Kamal said Egypt's airports are fully secured, clarifying there are no security gaps that could allow any type of smuggling. He added the new airports in governorates enjoy security sufficiency, which prevents any violation. The minister made these declarations during opening development projects in Assiut airport. The governor of Assiut, al-Sayed al-Borai, head of the Holding Company of Airports, Hassan Rashed, and a number of leaders of the governorate attended the event.
