The Egyptian people can pass their current obstacles to move on to a better future, according to Egyptian politician Amr Moussa, speaking at the Davos World Economic Forum in Jordan. Moussa, formerly head of the Arab League and an expected contender in Egypt's upcoming presidential election, held meeting with Arab and foreign investors on the sidelines of the forum. They discussed investment in Egypt and how to enhance economic performance in the Arab world's most populous country. Mousa said that the task of the next elected government and of the Egyptians is to rebuild Egypt. He said the government must meet the citizens' demands to live a dignified life and that democracy must become a lifestyle. Moussa met Klaus Martin, the executive chairman of the World Economic Forum. They discussed the political and economical situation in Egypt. Martin said during the meeting that many major companies and investors are seeking to explore investment opportunities in the Egyptian market.
