Egyptian Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ahmed al-Tayeb sent a message to Libyans after the death of Muammar Gadhafi on October 20. Al-Tayeb suggested to the Libyans to look for forward into their future and encouraged them to build their constitutional democratic modern state. In related news, the Association of Sunni scholars congratulated the Libyans for the end of Gadhafi's regime, which lasted for forty years and wasted precious Libyan resources. The association also encouraged the Libyans to unify and begin establishing the estate of justice and law. General secretary of the association, Safwat Hegazy, warn Arab leaders in Yeman and Syria to stop committing slaughter on their people.
