The Gumhuria Theatre will present Der Schauspieldirecktor (The Impresario), Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's one-act opera play – a story of a worn out opera manager who wishes to retreat to the simple life of farming, but instead is forced into a series of misadventures involving a fading prima donna and an ambitions ingénue. The show will from October 25-26 and will include Symphony No. 35 in D Major, also known as the Haffner Symphony, composed by Mozart in 1782. Hisham Gabr will conduct the music, Hisham Tally will do the stage direction and Sarah Enany, Igny Mohsen, Amina Khairat, Ibrahim Nagui, Amr Medhat and Ezzat Ahmed will be the soloists.
