The Egyptian stock market's main index gained 2.09 billion EGP (U.S. $350.7 million) on the day Monday, supported by purchases by foreign and Arab investors. The market's main index, the EGX30, rose 0.87 percent to close at 4,249 points. The EGX20 rose 0.72 percent. The small and medium companies index, the EGX70, fell 0.97 percent, and the EGX100 fell 0.10 percent. Egyptian investors made up 71.97 percent of transactions, while foreigner investors made 23.17 percent of trades and Arab investors made up 4.86 percent.
