The Egyptian Ministry of Finance announced results of the bids on treasury bills reached 5 billion EGP (U.S. $837.7 million), with one or two times coverage. The ministry published on its website that it offered treasury bills for 91 days starting at 1.5 billion EGP (U.S. $251.3 million), with an average interest of 12.431 percent. While the maximum return reached 12.469 percent, the minimum returned to 12.299 percent with 3.67 times coverage. The ministry added they offered treasury bills for 273 days at 3.5 billion EGP (U.S. $586.4 million), with a 13.625 percent interest. 13.660 percent, 13.449 maximum and minimum return respectively, with a coverage 2.21times.
