Prominent poet, author and inventor of ‘Bogy and Tamtam' cartoon character, Youssry Khames, passed away on October 16. His funeral will be held in Salah Al-Din mosque in Manyal also on October 16. Youssry is the first to present the documentary theatre in the Arab world. He also translated various masterpieces for Brecht, Dorinmat and KAFKA. He also wrote different plays presenting the recent changes during the sixties for the Arab world. He also invented Bogy and Tamtam, the popular Egyptian cartoon that showed during the Islamic holy month Ramadan.
