Zamalek's Bogy may start his Euro trip with the Czech Slovácko Czech side Slovácko shows interest in signing Zamalek's out of favour striker Ahmed Fathi “Bogy”
The manager of the Czech Republic outfit FC Slovácko, Miroslav Soukup, has stepped up his interest in signing a former key player Ahmed Fathi next summer, a member of the Egyptian youth national team and current Zamalek forward. “I received a telephone call from Miroslav asking me to join him in the Slovácko squad,” Bogy told Al-Ahram. The 22-year old striker is currently on loan with Egyptian Premier League side El-Maqasah, coming from league leaders Zamalek. Under the helm of Czech tactician Miroslav Soukup, Bogy helped the Egypt youth national team reach the FIFA U-20 World Cup round of 16 that was held in Egypt in 2009. The Czechteam have never won their domestic league title, having at best placed second in the seasons2004-05, 2008-09.
