Ancient Egyptians are the first to put together an alphabet for writing in history. They are also the first to hold a pen, made of reed according to a new historic study. A study by Egyptian archaeologist and director of archeological documentation in Luxor's region of antiquities, Mostafa Wazeery, said Ancient Egyptians are the first to make writing paper from papyrus and they are the first to invent ink from indigo plant fluids. Wazeery said the first alphabet in human history brought together art, science and literature. Wazeery said in his study Egypt is the origin of civilizations and the ancient Egyptian literature is the earliest. Egyptian literature is characterized with its strong characteristics and special impressions, which had a different reflection on the environment then. He said ancient Egyptians had many texts in the field of poetry, literature and story-writing. They began with literature all aspects of humanity and left a long lasting intellectual heritage. He mentioned some of their sayings and proverbs about advice for people, to stand by the weak rather than the strong, that silence opens paths for thought and speech closes it. Advice also given to people to control their anger, which can lead them to devastation, that knowledge is power and a weapon for people to defend themselves and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
