LUXOR, EGYPT: Rescue teams in the Upper Egyptian province of Luxor pulled two bodies from the Nile River Wednesday, after their boat sunk near Edfu on eastern bank of the Nile. The two bodies washed onto the riverbank and were transferred to a hospital to deliver them to families. Divers searched for other victims and police forces recovered the boat Thursday. The Egyptian Ministry of Interior supplied rescue forces to expand the search process. Search efforts began where the boat sank in the Sebaeya region, and continued searching for bodies between Sebaeya and Qanater. Surface police rescued six victims Thursday and are searching for eight missing persons. Arabic here
