CAIRO: The second reactor at the Inshas Nuclear Research facility is operational, said Mohammad Ezat Abdel Azeem, Head of the Egyptian Atomic Energy Agency (EAEA). The reactor will create isotopes used in medical treatments. A team from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will check the first reactor, established more than 50 years ago, upon a request from the EAEA.
