Israel Today magazine claimed Egypt approved of the release of the Israeli spy, Elan Grabil, sometime this week. The decision was made after reaching an agreement with the U.S Administration to increase political and financial support for Egypt's ruling military council. The Israeli magazine said Grabil was described as a "dove of politics,” adding he likes the Arab culture so he decided to go to Egypt and study local culture and work with donor agencies. Israeli Today said Egypt refused many requests to release the Israeli spy, while Egyptian authorities changed their decision after receiving a promise from the U.S President, Barrack Obama, to support the Egyptian government politically and financially if Grabil was released.
