The Unemployed People's Movement will send a petition next Monday to Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister Essam Sharaf. Khaled al-Hawari, a spokesman for the movement, said that after number of meetings and discussions with members of the movement it decided to hold the rally. He added that the movement is scheduled to meet next Monday in Cairo's Tahrir Square to agree on some points with movement members from various governorates before they march to the Cabinet's headquarters Hawari told "Youm 7," that they would demand providing jobs to members of the movement in the public or private sector, or providing them a monthly allowance until they are provided the opportunity. The movement also demands the amendment of laws governing the private sector, setting the retirement age at 55 years to provide jobs. He said they would stage a sit-in till their demands were met.
