Hundreds of Ain Shams and Cairo University students protested for the second day demanding the resignation of both universities' officials. Ain Shams University students organized a protest demanding the dismissal of the university president Maged al-Deeb. Students chanted different slogans and held up banners against university officials. A professor in the faculty of engineering Mohamed Suleiman said the university deans and presidents lack the legitimacy and they should resign, since the students formed all sorts of movements against them, even the elected students' union. In Cairo University's faculty of antiquities, hundreds of students protested and demanded the dismissal of the faculty's dean, Azoua Farouk, especially after the resignation of most of the university's deans and its president.
