CAIRO – Chief of the Democratic Front Party Said Kamel today announced that Egyptian Army Chief of Staff Sami Anan has called an emergency meeting with political party leaders tomorrow at 12 p.m. The meeting will cover the election and political elimination laws. “This invitation is clear evidence that the million man ‘Restoring the Revolution' demonstration has succeeded,” said Kamel. The Democratic Alliance for Egypt Party also issued a statement in which they condemned the latest reforms to the election law, primarily because it allows members of the disgraced National Democratic Party (NDP) the opportunity to secure seats in the new parliament. The Democratic Alliance for Egypt Party comprises 43 different political parties.
