Publishing house Bloomsberry of Qatar institution releases the translated English version of ‘Vertigo,' a novel by author Ahmed Mourad. This novel impressed critics and readers in Egypt, where it was published seven times since November 2007. The publishing house mentioned in a press statement the great novelist Sanaa Allah Ibrahim described the novel as an adventure, which deserved to be read. The novel is about a wedding photographer, Ahmed Kamal, who captured photos of a bloody fight of important businessmen at Vertigo Bar in Egypt. The place becomes a massacre, with pools of blood and dead bodies, and Ahmed escapes from the killers and hides to start his unbelievable journey. His journey reveals many secrets and scandals, including a political game that hinders Ahmed's way. Bloomsberry Publishing House signed a contract with the author to distribute the novel in Arabic also. Bloomsberry organized a tour for the book in the UK next October, where Ahmed Mourad will participate in Pristol festival and Deram festival. He will also meet with audiences in South Bank Center in London. It is worth mentioning Ahmed Mourad is an Egyptian novelist, photographer, graphic designer, born in Cairo in 1978. He received a bachelor's degree in film photography in the High Institute of Cinema in 2001. His graduation project movie received many awards in European festivals.
