CAIRO: The North Cairo Criminal Court examined videos today that show security forces shooting live bullets at demonstrators from the roof of Egypt's Ministry of Interior. The videos, showing plainclothes security forces, were among evidence presented in the case against those accused of killing demonstrators during Egypt's January 25 Revolution. One video shows demonstrator Motaz Mohamed being shot in the head on January 28. Another video revealed snipers had guns with laser scopes to shoot protesters. A third video shows an armored car driving over demonstrators on Qasr el-Aini Bridge, which leads from the Cairo Opera House on Zamalek island into Tahrir Square, the epicenter of Egypt's revolution. The court will consider the matter of these videos in tomorrow's hearing.
