CAIRO: Darb 17/18 Center for Contemporary Art will host an exhibition of the final projects of the collage workshop that was held at Darb in May, facilitated by Hany Rashed. Twenty-four artists will participate in the exhibition to show their interpretations of artistic work based on different techniques and concepts acquired during the workshop. The exhibition will run from September 17 until October 5. The collage art depends on cutting and pasting paper (magazines, newspapers, photos, etc) and using acrylic paint. The technique combines between collage, drawing and painting techniques. It requires from the artist the ability to make important and quick decisions during achievement of the work.
