CAIRO: Five Egyptian political movements denied attending the conference or signing the statement confirming responsibility for breaking into the Israeli embassy last Thursday. The political movements that denied responsibility include; • The NO to Military Trials Movement • The National Committee for defending the revolution • The Liberal Protestors Movement • The Democratic Laborers Party • Egyptian Justice and Equality Movement “We did not participate in any conferences and we did not sign any statement confirming responsibility for the Israeli embassy incident,” the cooperator of No to Military Trials Movement, Mona Seif, said. The National Committee coordinator, Ahmed Ezat, assured he did not participate in the conference or sign statements either. “We were invited to the conference to sign the first statement. This statement was reformed later but we were not told. They also put our names on the second reformed statement,” said The Liberal Protestors Movement spokesman, Hesham Ahmed. The coordinator of the Egyptian Justice and Equality Movement Mariam Mahmoud Shrief said, “We did not sign the statement. However, we participated in breaking into the Israeli Embassy.”
