The Egyptian Minister of Tourism, Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour opened the first tourist marine for disabled on September 27. This marine is the first for the disabled in Middle East and Africa. Opening the marine coincides with the Egyptian celebration of International Tourim Day, which will be held in Aswan. “Nile tourism plays a big role in Egyptian tourism movements,” said the executive director of Amarco Company, Mohamed Othman. Othman said this new project will activate tourism in Egypt, since there are 750 million disabled tourists who visit Egypt annually, 35 million of them from Middle East.
