The latest Israeli embassy's incidents last Friday postponed the meeting of touristic shops tenants in Sharm el-Sheikh coalition and the governor of South Sinai, Khaled Fouda, to discuss the rents' crisis. The tenants ask to be exempted from payments until the end of the current year because of financial losses they suffer from since tourism was aborted due to the Egyptian January 25 Revolution. They also wish to put a new pricing policy instead of the one put by owners. The head of the coalition, Atef Ghourab, said the latest incidents led to a total change in the dates of negotiations, since they are postponed indefinitely. Coalition members tried to hold the meeting last Saturday since they are living under severe pressure by their owners, Atef said.
