CAIRO: A security source in Egypt's Interior Ministry accused foreign elements of involvement in the violence that erupted outside the Israeli Embassy in Cairo and the attempts to storm the Giza Security Directorate Friday night.
The Interior Ministry announced a state of alert in all police stations in Greater Cairo after Friday night's developments, which included setting fire to a building related to the Interior Ministry and attempts to storm the Giza Security Directorate, as well as attacks on the Israeli Embassy.
